# Applying for School Approval

Unapproved schools have limited access on the RIVEMIS platform. Only schools approved by the Rivers State government through the Rivers State Ministry of Education have full privileges to the services provided by the RIVEMIS platform and indeed, full rights to operate as a school or educational institution in the state.

For any school to be approved in Rivers State, the school must be registered on the RIVEMIS platform, and then follow the procedure for schools approval made available on the platform. The procedure is summarized below:
